Alfred Milton Owens

Alfred Milton Owens, 89, of Adrian, OR passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at the home of his daughter in Caldwell. He was born on September 30, 1926 in Nampa, Idaho to John and Dora Owens. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII on the USS Talladega (APA 208) from 1944 to 1951.

He married Helen Thomas on April 13, 1947. He worked at Idaho Meat Pack in Caldwell until he retired.

He loved hunting, fishing, camping and anything outdoors that included family and friends. Dad also loved a trip to Jackpot every once in a while.

He is survived by his companion, Anne Barlow of Adrian, OR; daughters, Shirley Coffman (Dean White) and Patty Schafer (Bob) all of Caldwell; sons Steve and Bryon Owens both of Oregon; additional family members, Dave Griffith (Patti) of Florida and Sandi Anderson (Gale) of Nampa; granddaughters, Annette Coffman, Shelly Arnold, Megan Linkhart (Chris) all of Caldwell, Nichole Masterson of Baker City, OR; and nine great grandchildren who all knew him by “Buttcrack Grandpa”

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at West Valley for the loving care they took in caring for us and our loved one.
