Anne Teresa Stallcop, 93, of Nampa, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at HOME SWEET HOME Assisted Living. A viewing will be held on Monday, Oct. 19, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. A funeral service to honor and celebrate her life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015 at the College Church of Nazarene, Nampa. Private burial will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell

Anne was born January 28, 1922 in Havre, Montana to Norwegian immigrants and homesteaders, Haakon and Anna Tangmo. She was the seventh and youngest child. Her mother died shortly thereafter so she was raised by Aunt Inga and Uncle Carl lager who had five children of their own.

She graduated from Havre High School in 1940 and on January 20, 1941 she married the love of her life, Eugene P. Stallcop. Together they had three children. She was a homemaker, loved to crochet for family and friends, and was an excellent cook. She was known for her fabulous Norwegian cookies, breads, and other pastries baked especially at Thanksgiving and Christmas. She was an active member of the SONS OF NORWAY organization, and also became fluent in Norwegian. She traveled to Norway in 1979 and 1999 to visit relatives there.

Family came first for Anne. In 1977, upon retirement from farming, she and Eugene moved to Nampa to be close to the "kids". She thoroughly enjoyed having meals together, whether at home or in a local restaurant someplace. She was active in serving at her church, and she volunteered many hours at Mercy Medical Center greeting visitors and delivering flowers to patients. She loved flowers, birds, and music. She attended many of the programs performed by her church and NNU ensembles.

Anne was preceded in death by her husband Eugene, her parents, two sisters, four brothers, her five lager cousins, and a special cousin/sister, Gertrude. She is survived by two sons: Marvin (Judy) Stallcop, Paul (Becky) Stallcop, one daughter Doris, (Robert) Bolen, six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank HOME SWEET HOME and XL Hospice for the excellent care they gave Anne. Memorials may be given to Hands of Hope, Nampa or to the Northwest Nazarene University Stallcop Music Scholarship fund.
