Cyndi Lou Taylor, 63 of Nampa, went home to be with The Lord on Thursday, July 21st, 2016 at a local hospital after a short illness. Cyndi was born January 5th, 1953 in Nampa, Idaho to Byron and Delores Taylor. She was the first of three beautiful children. Unfortunately her dad passed away when she was only 5 years old. Her mother later remarried Larry Yellen who raised Cyndi, Steve, and Melanie as if they were his, while raising 2 children of his own, Linda and Cindy Gayle. Lou spent a majority of her childhood at Silver Creek Plunge where her family had a cabin, she said her best memories were up there. Her favorite things were fishing, camping, the mountains, her dogs and cats, BSU football, but most of all her family and friends, especially her brother. In her life she touched the hearts of many people and made countless, wonderful friends. Special thanks to Diana who was always by her side and helped her with everything. Although everything happened fast, we find comfort in knowing she accepted Jesus into her heart and that we will see her again. Cyndi was a great friend, sister, cousin, ect., and she will be greatly missed by all. We will not forget her stubbornness, her boldness, and her orneriness, but most of all we will remember her big heart. Cyndi was preceded in death by her father Byron Taylor, mother Delores Taylor, and grandparents. She is survived by her brother Steven Taylor, sister Melanie Burgess, her step dad Larry Yellen, stepmom Wanda Yellen, and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Our family would like to thank everyone who helped Cyndi in her time of need. Special thanks to all hospital staff, chaplain Scott, meals on wheels, and the funeral chapel. Thank you all so much and may God bless you always.
