I have fond memories, from my childhood, of Eileen and her family from the Hersey Church in Wisconsin.
Eileen played the piano for every service, and I admired her for that talent. I remember her kind and gentle ways...she was a roll model for the younger girls in church. I still drive by the Hollerud farm and Hersey church, on occasion, and reflect on the good people who grew up there and have spread the Word of God beyond their youth.
God's blessings to Eileen's family and friends as they mourn her loss...and rejoice in knowing Eileen is Safely Home.

There are not adequate words to represent the love and gift of Eileen to a young man from North Dakota who was finding his way in CA. His life, and I might add, his idea of a wife were molded by her example. I am still baking her bread recipe. Sending a card by real mail
