Jeffery Jon Schell lost his battle with cancer on May 19, 2015 at Trinity Mission Health and Rehab, Midland in Nampa, Idaho.

Jeff was the beloved son of Sandy and Chuck Schell of Nampa. He was born June 6, 1964 in Emmett Idaho. Jeff attended school in Nampa, graduating from Nampa High School in 1982. He loved sports and excelled in Tennis, Golf, Skiing, Scuba Diving and Track. After graduation he joined the US Army and proudly served his country as a 55 Bravo. He was stationed in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Caserma Ederly, Italy, Nuremberg, Germany, Iraq and Fort Carson, Colorado. He fought in Dessert Storm where he earned the Purple Heart among many other commendations before being honorably discharged as a Sargent E5.

Jeff continued his Government Service by entering the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Florence, Colorado, later being transferred to Florida. While in Florida he worked in construction, commercial painting and later was self-employed doing home improvement.

He loved traveling, his family, his many friends from childhood, and his dogs. He lit up a room with his charisma, compassion, quick wit and infectious laughter, never said "no" to helping out a friend, and put everyone in his life first before himself.

He will be deeply missed by his parents Sandy and Chuck Schell; his sisters Tamie Schell and Jennifer Hocklander and her husband Brent; Brothers Jeff Wand his wife Karen, Tim and his wife Kathleen; nieces and nephews Haidyn, Amaya, David, Miles, Halle, Elizabeth, Charles, Susan, William and Andrew; Uncle Terry Vahlberg and wife Ann and Aunt Ginny Spencer and husband Fred; Biological Father John Eiguren; Uncle Terry Eiguren and wife Trudy; Uncle Tom Eiguren and wife Barbara; Brother Julio Eiguren and wife Angela; Sister Rachel and Brother Riley.

He will also be missed by his ex-wives Michelle Gray, his High School sweetheart in Roskilde, Denmark while stationed in Italy, and Eddyce Sullivan whom he married in 1996 while living in Bushnell, Florida.

The Family wants to extend a Special Thanks to Bob Nichols, Brent Watkins, Kent Gingrich and Greg Hanway, Jeff’s wonderful friends who he was lucky to have reconnected with after many years.

We are thankful to Legacy Hospice for the outstanding care and coordination with Trinity Mission Health and Rehab of Midland who gave Jeff very compassionate care during his final days.
