I remember Uncle Win was such a kind and gentle man. I feel so sad that I had not seen him for such a very long time, and now I have lost that opportunity. That is a hard lesson I won't soon forget. My prayers and love go out to family and friends. I feel joy in my heart knowing he is safe and sound with Jesus, who he so faithfully served in life.

Your loss is great, but your heritage is greater. Your dad served so widely and greatly. I appreciated his service and friendship in Bremerton to/with my family.

We wanted to share our condolences with Win's family. It is never easy to have to say goodbye to a loved one. The pain of loss can be unbearable. Our Creator promises us that one day this pain will be just a memory. That beautiful promise can be found at Revelation 21:3,4. Our pain and suffering will be a thing of the past, and we can cry tears of joy as we welcome back the ones that we love so much. We hope you find comfort in those promises.

I first met Winfield when he was pastor at International Falls, Minn. and I was at Thief River Falls. God certainly used him down through the years and he will be missed. May God's comforting hand rest upon each member of the family.
