Richard Rex McAlear

Richard McAlear passed away at his home on Thursday, August 18th, 2016. He was born February 20th, 1951 in Missoula, Montana to Earl and Myrtle McAlear.

He married Shirley Abelido on December 13th, 2004.

Throughout his life he enjoyed many things to include playing baseball, fishing, camping, gardening and sharing memories of his youth. He was also very proud of his family and never passed up an opportunity to brag about his grandchildren. He always enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Shirley McAlear; daughters Patri Thompson and BrookeLynn (Cory) Zavala; son Wylie McAlear, his sister Marlene (Dale) Harried and his three grandchildren.
Predeceased family members include his parents Earl and Myrtle and his brothers Dwayne and Larry McAlear.

A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, Aug. 26, 2016 at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel
