Sage Louis Thompson (18) of Nampa ID was born to Tyler and Sunny Thompson on August 23,
1998 in Boise Idaho, the first of three children. Sage attended Victory Charter School, Union High
School, and graduated from the Idaho Youth Challenge Academy in Pierce Idaho, where he made many
lifelong friendships. In addition to school Sage worked at Burger King and Office Depot, where he was
committed to the job and friendly to everyone. He was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church.
Sage loved music, he played the guitar and mandolin, and he performed at many area nursing homes
alongside his teacher and good friend Jerry Van Buren.

Sage loved everything outdoors; hunting, trapping with his dad, fly tying, and fishing. He spent
many hours shooting his BB gun with his cousins at Grandma and Grandpa's house. He also enjoyed
vacationing at the Oregon coast where he really loved to catch clams and go crabbing. He was an avid
skateboarder and could complete many tricks. He loved magic and entertained us all. Sage was
happiest surrounded by family and friends, he was quick witted, friendly, kind hearted, funny,
optimistic, and generous to a fault.

Sage is survived by his parents Sunny and Tyler Thompson, sisters and best friends Olivia and
Sophia Thompson. Maternal grandparents; Bo and Betti Worthen, paternal grandparents; Jack and
Robin Thompson, great grandmothers; Pauline Killough, Marie Thompson, Uncles Sam Thompson, Pete
[Armie] Thompson, Joe (Tammy) Thompson, Gus (Katie) Thompson, Rory Thompson, and Zac Worthen,
cousins; Hannah, Brook, Marlee, Ella, Molly, Beatrice, Henry, Wyat, Kasey, Morgan, Colleen, Joey,
Benjamin, Ivy, Carson, and Garrett; and many more extended family members.

A memorial service will be held Monday Feb 27, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Nampa Civic Center
located at 411 3rd Street South, Nampa ID. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Idaho Youth
Ranch, 5465 West Irving Street, Boise ID 83706 Arrangements are under the direction of the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel where an online guest book is available at www.nampafuneralhome.com

Thank you so much for helping us show love to Sage, the incredible and kind young man who has left us
