Charles “Chuck” Benger, 61, died Friday, February 16, 2018 at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise, Idaho from complications following surgery.

Charles Mitchell was born September 1, 1956 at Moses Lake, Washington, the son of Ralph and Doris Benger. Chuck moved with his family to Nampa, Idaho when he was 13.
Chuck lived and worked doing what he loved. He preferred to be outdoors and was blessed to find work doing what he liked best. He was proficient at operating any machinery. A few of his many occupations include commercial fishing in Alaska and Hawaii, managing a cattle ranch on the Great Divide, drilling wells, and working for the Bureau of Reclamation.
Fishing, hunting, hiking in the Owyhees and hanging out with his friends occupied his free time.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, his identical twin brother, Chris and his beloved niece, Erin. He is survived by lots of loving family and good friends.
