Harold Boschma, 84, of Kuna, passed away peacefully the afternoon of Friday, April 6, 2018, surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Harold was the sonof Sjoerd Hendriks’ and Janna Raukema Boschma in Sijbrandaburen, Boarnsterhim, Friesland, Netherlands in 1934 and came to the United States in April of 1954 on the SS Zuider Kruis. Dad was always full of adventure and fun. Coming to the States was an opportunity to build a new life for himself and his family. Dad and his brother Gerben worked on a dairy in Bellflower, California where he met his beautiful bride while going to school to learn english. Mom and Dad married in 1955 and moved to Arizona in 1962 to start their own dairy with Gerben and his family. In 1974 our adventures in Idaho began. 62 years of marriage and a lifetime of adventures have come to an end as he entered the arms of his Savior.
