Leonor “Nori” Leon

September 12, 1998 – January 12, 2018

Leonor passed Friday of Rett Syndrome health complications.  Leonor was born in Idaho to parents Armando Ramirez Leon and Maida Vela Leon of Nampa Idaho.

Nori is the sunshine of our life every day.  When you look at Nori you see everything good in life, she is sweet, pure, kind, loving, gentle, innocent happiness like a newborn baby only bigger.  Nori lights up the room without any words, she says a lot through her big beautiful expressive eyes.  Nori loves the 5 c’s her cartoons, coca – cola, cheetos, chocolate, and cheeseburgers from McDonald’s in moderation.  Nori also loves music, her favorite song is “somewhere over the Rainbow” she enjoys spending time with her brothers and family, and likes Christmas lights, light up musical toys, and being outdoors in the summer.  Leonor attended school at Greenhurst Elementary and East Valley Middle School.

 Leonor is survived by her parents Armando and Maida, and her brothers Armando, Fabian, Leandro, Luciano and her sister Teah Mercedes.  Grandparents Susie and David Owen, Uncle Romaldo and Cousins, Great Grandmother Juanita Vela, nephew, and other relatives, Also Grandparents Esperanza and Roldolfo Leon, along with aunts, uncles and cousins.  Leonor is proceeded in death by her Grandfather, Jose Luis Hernandez, Great Grandparents Paulita and Santos Hernandez.  Also, Great Grandfather Jose Vela, Uncle Mario Vela and other relatives.  Nori will be missed dearly and loved forever.  More than words can ever express.

A viewing and visitation along with recitation of the Rosary will be held 7:00-9:00 P.M. Sunday January 14th 2018 at the Nampa Funeral Home Yraguen Chapel.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday January 15th 2018 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Nampa.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Nampa Funeral Home Yraguen chapel.  An online guest book is available at www.nampafuneralhome.com.
