Olivia Lorraine Johnson Vincent was born April 3, 1925 in Sugarville, Utah. She was one of six children born to Maude Hathaway Johnson and Homer Johnson. The family moved to Nampa, Idaho when Olivia was 5 years old. She attended Nampa schools until she married John Franklin Vincent on Dec. 10th, 1941. They moved to Hayward, California where John went to work in the war plant until Olivia's homesickness brought them home. Upon returning to Nampa, John went to work at Amalgamated Sugar and Olivia lovingly raised their four boys. After they were grown she decided to go back to work and was hired as the Art Director for the City of Nampa. Art became a passion and she was actively involved in painting the mural in downtown Nampa as well as organizing and decorating for the Festival of Trees each fall. She continued to work for the City for the next 28 years. Olivia was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister, her husband John and a son, Roger.
