Robert G. Fiora

Robert G. Fiora, age 81, of Melba, Idaho, died peacefully on October 4, 2017 at a Emmett care center. An online guest book is available at www.nampafuneralhome.com 
 

Born in Oakland, California, he fell in love with Idaho while he was in basic training at “Gowen Field” for the Air National Guard.  He proudly served his country & retired from the California Air Force National Guard after 26 years. 

          You could hear his love of airplanes, old cars and tractors in his stories. He was very devoted to his dogs, Jake (now passed) and Frankie. He will be missed by his Sky Park and church friends. A memorial mass will be held in the future in his honor. A private service will be held at the family ranch in California.

          He is survived by his son, Brett (wife-Shawn) of North Carolina, with children and grandchildren on the east coast, and a daughter, Diane of California. His brother and sister in California, along with cousins, nieces and nephews also survive him. 
 

          Per his request, memorial contributions may be made to the Idaho Warhawk Air Museum, 201 Municipal Dr. Nampa, ID 83687 in Memory of Robert G. Fiora.
