So many great memories about Vi that takes me back to the Franlin Road days, and the many times we spent eating together after church, and growing up with all the Long kids. The good news is, we will meet again. She was Mom to all of us, and teaching us in Sunday school the values we hold dear today. We will miss that smile and kind gentle spirit.

Vi probably was the most Christian person I know. I worked with her for many years at Mercy. She never talked about anyone. She always kind, and never complained. She served others most of her life. I am very happy that I called her a few days before her passing and was able to visit with her. I had planned to visit her the next week and I am sorry that I was unable to do that. The world is a much sadder place without her. My sympathies to all who loved her.
