Adan "Donny" Lara our nephew, cousin and friend, passed away from natural causes at his home on November 21, 2010. His final days were spent driving trucks for Anthony Morin and celebrating BSUs win against Fresno State.

Donny was born on November 2nd 1971 in Jerome, Idaho to Margarito and Ramona Lara. He attended Midway school and Vallivue School. Donny spent many years working at WW farms with his father in Canyon County. Donny was extremely dedicated to his family. When his parents could no longer work, Donny devoted his life to providing for his parents and extended family. After his parents passed away Donny made tremendous effort to maintain a connection to his family, frequently checking on everyone with a telephone call or a visit. A lover of social gatherings, Donny was the "King of Barbecues," always getting everyone together for delicious food and lots of fun. He loved music and football. And spent a lot of time cracking jokes. His laugh and sense of humor will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Donny was a natural leader who taught by example. He was always there to help anyone, anytime, with anything. Donny always put others before himself. This is the essence of Donny.

Donny is preceded in death by his parents and they will be together again at last. A celebration of Donnys life will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 11:00Am at the Nampa Funeral Home Yraguen Chapel. Burial will be in the Kohlerlawn Cemetery, Nampa.
