Alexia Leanos Obituary Alexia Leanos
March 13, 1997 September 8, 2024
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Alexia Leanos, who left us on September 8, 2024, at the age of 27. Born and raised in Dickinson, ND, Alexia was a vibrant, loving soul who brought joy and light to everyone around her. If you knew her, she surely left an impact on your heart.
She bravely and stubbornly battled cancer for several years, never once complaining and always facing each challenge with quiet strength and resilience.
Alexia was always full of life, always finding joy in the moments spent with her family and friends. Whether it was sharing a laugh, enjoying a meal, or simply being present, Alexia made every moment count. She loved being surrounded by her loved ones, and nothing brought her more happiness than those good times together.
Her favorite places were those filled with peace and quiet, where she found comfort and could reflect on the beauty of life. She had a deep love for travel, whether frolicking around Disneyland with the love of her life, braving cold plunges into the ocean with friends, visiting the beach in Cancun, or enjoying food at new restaurants wherever she went. No matter the adventure, she embraced it with joy. Through all the battles she faced, she carried herself with unwavering grace, never allowing her challenges to define her or diminish her radiant spirit.
Alexias strength, kindness, and ability to find joy in the little things will forever remain in our hearts. We are grateful for the time we had with her, even though it was far too short. Her absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but her memory will live on in the lives of everyone she touched.
Alexia is survived by her husband Gleny, her cats Perico and Jaeger, and the many friends and family who were lucky enough to have her in their lives.
If you would like to contribute to Alexias memorial or help her husband with the cost of her cancer treatment, donations can be made via CashApp at $gleanos13.
We love you, Alexia, and will carry your love and light with us always.
