Alfred Eugene Boyer, 58, of Las Vegas and formerly of Caldwell, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013 at a Las Vegas hospital. He was born on November 12, 1954 in Woodward, OK. He graduated from Caldwell High in 1973 and received his Associates degree in surveying in 1988. Al was married to Patricia Boyer on August 1, 1986. They resided in Caldwell Idaho till 2009 when they moved to Las Vegas Nevada. Alfred had many enjoyments and hobbies but his favorite past time was reading. His favorite authors were James Axler, Dean Koonz, & Steven King. He was preceded in death by both his parents Clifford and Mary Boyer, his in-laws Dale & Violate Lawrence, his brother in-law Donnie Lawrence and his sister in law Chris Ewing. He is survived by his wife Pat of Las Vegas; his daughter Tracy Basile & son in law Lewis Basile of Las Vegas; his four grand daughters Tiana Basile of Coeur D Alene, Angelina, Alyssia & Sophia Basile of Las Vegas as well as his great grand daughter Kathryn Luttrell of Coeur d Alene; 3 sisters Estelle Boger of Fargo, ND, Nancy Lott & Sherra Birkenbine both of Caldwell & one brother Eldon Boyer of Phoenix, AZ. Viewing will be held at Nampa Funeral Home Yraguen Chapel located at 415 12th Ave S. in Nampa, on Thursday Aug. 8, 2013 between 4:00pm & 7:00 pm.
