Allan Jones was born in Sebastopol, California on August 1st, 1942. He went to be with the Lord on August 4th, 2012.

Allan was married to the love of his life, Nancy, on February 23rd, 1962. Allan and Nancy were fortunate enough to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary this past February. They were blessed with two sons, two daughters, and nine grandchildren.

Allan was in the insurance field for 30+ years. He excelled in his field, earning numerable trips, awards, and recognitions throughout his career. He also earned MDRT, an elite insurance award in the insurance industry. Throughout his career, he established many long lasting friendships with clients and co-workers. Allan's two main priorities in life were his relationship with the Lord and his family. His spiritual influence is seen through the lives of the many people that he has touched throughout his life. He will continue to be a spiritual inspiration to his family and those that knew him.

Allan and Nancy spent the majority of their time raising their family, in San Jose, California. They also lived briefly in Oregon and Washington before moving to Idaho in 2003. Shortly after moving to Idaho, Allan retired. Since retiring, Allan and Nancy have enjoyed traveling with friends and family.

Among his many hobbies, Allan loved to fish, garden and complete home remodel projects. He had a wonderful personality, and a great sense of humor.

The family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of prayers, love, and support during this very emotional time. Your friendships have been such a blessing, and have meant so much more, especially to Nancy, than can be put into words.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012 at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Meridian.
