Angela Marie Hammond passed away February 1, 2011, at West Valley Medical Center, Caldwell, ID from natural causes. She was a great wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend.

Angela was born on January 28, 1962, in Boise, ID, to Phillip and Kathy Deck. She graduated from Capital High School in 1980. She attended cosmetology school, where she became a hair stylist, before entering a career in the dental field.

She married Clint Patrick Hammond in August 1981, and settled in Middleton, ID, where they raised three amazing children: Corby Patrick, Amanda Marie, and Lindsey Ann.

Angela loved camping, walking on the beach and spending time with her family, especially being a loving "Me-ma" to her two granddaughters: Annmarie and Rylee.

Angela could brighten up a room with her infectious smile and warm, loving heart. She always saw the best in people, had a generous soul and always put others before herself. She loved doing projects around the house and was the ultimate organizer for her large family gatherings, which always included her "famous" confetti cake.

She is survived by her husband Clint; son Corby and his wife Christina; daughter Amanda and partner Matt Shockey and their children Annmarie and Rylee; and her youngest daughter Lindsey; mother Kathy Deck and stepfather Lynn Rasmussen; brother Mike and wife DeLayne Deck; brother Terry and wife Kim Deck; sister Lisa and husband Jerry Talik, and their families. Shes also survived by brother-in-law Ross Hammond; brother-in-law Doug and wife Maryann Hammond; and sister-in-law Carla Jo and husband Wally Rogers, and their families. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Phillip; father-in-law Pat and mother-in-law Jean Hammond; and grandparents Jerry and Nettie Sullivan.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 5, 2011, at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 6300 N. Meridian Rd., Meridian, ID. In lieu of flowers, a benefit account has been set up in the name of Angela Hammond, and donations may be made at any Zions Bank location or a charity of your choice.
