Anita Hancock Obituary Anita was born February 16, 1956 in Lynwood, California. She was raised in Southern California and graduated from Bell High School. Anita attended the Maywood Nazarene Church where she met her future husband Carey in 1971. In 1973 they were married and started their family. They had two children; Brandon and Veronica. Carey worked in the automotive tire industry and his job involved several moves. Anita was blessed to be a homemaker. She loved being called a gypsy because of all the moving around. She was a devout homemaker demonstrating and teaching strong family values to her children, She loved God, family, raising her grandson (Brandon) drag racing, football, concerts, and traveling.She was an amazing wife, mother, and grandparent (Nana). Anita was known for her feisty personality, willingness to help others, and working for God. Anita leaves behind her husband, daughter, and three grandkids.
