Obituary

Anna June Butler of Nampa, Idaho passed peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, December 9, 2012 in the Cottages of Nampa. We rejoice in the knowledge that Anna is now forever at home with her Savior, Jesus Christ (John 11:25-26). Born in Marion, Illinois, September 20, 1923, to Earl and Ruth King, Anna was the sixth of seven siblings. She married Leonard Butler in 1949 and traveled around the United States during his 26-year military career with the USAF. Although divorced after "Jacks" military career, a son (Leonard Jr.) and daughter (Linda) were born to the couple. A dedicated homemaker, she created a loving environment for both her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Anna loved good food and socializing, enjoyed going to movies and had a wonderful smile that could light up a room. Anna leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her son and daughter-in-law Leonard and Deborah Butler of Scottsdale, AZ and daughter Linda Hewlett of Nampa, ID; grandchildren Sara (Hewlett) and husband Chris Brady, Wilder, ID; Jon Hewlett of Nampa; Melissa Butler, Teresa Butler, Steven and wife, Angie Butler, and Ryan Butler all of Denver, CO; and great grandchildren, Jordan, Kyler, Alayna, Caitlin, Alexis and Houston. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Cottages of Nampa for their support in her final days. A private family memorial service is planned.
