Antonio M. Rondan of Nampa, Idaho entered into rest on July 30, 2011 with loved ones by his side. Born on March 31, 1945 in Chihuahua, Mexico, he married his wife Linda on August 24 1974. He went to California in the early seventies in search of better work opportunities. He had a strong work ethic and providing for his family was always his first priority. He accomplished becoming a chef and worked in the restaurant business for over twenty years. Wanting his boys to grow up in more peaceful and safer environment, he moved his family to Idaho in 1995. Antonio will best be remembered for his warm personality and sense of humor. He enjoyed making people laugh and always had a joke or a funny comment to share, that would be sure to make anyone smile. He loved baseball! If there was a baseball game on, especially the Yankees, you would find him cheering them on from his favorite spot on the couch. He was seen by many as a great source of helpful and realistic advice. He considered one of his greatest achievements to be his three sons. He was very proud to speak of their athletic and life accomplishments. He is survived by his wife, Linda; three sons, Tony, Alvaro, and Abe; and grandson Maddox. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonor and Ladislao Rondan. The Rosary will be Wednesday, August 3rd at 7:00pm at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel and Mass will be held at St. Paul's Catholic Church on Thursday, August 4th at 11:00am. Burial ceremony will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery on Greenhurst and So. Powerline. Friends are invited back to St. Paul's after the services for a lunch and celebration of his life in the Church's dining hall.
