Ardeth Pokorney Cobble Obituary Ardeth Arlouine (Coleman) Pokorney Cobble went to fly with the angels on Friday June 21, 2024, surrounded by family, at home in Kuna, ID. She was 95 years old.
She was born December 31,1928 in Valentine, Nebraska to Arlo and Nellie Coleman. She was the first of ten children.
In Nov 1948, at the age of 17, she married PFC George M. Pokorney. They resided in Ravanna, Nebraska and had 14 children, 8 boys and 6 girls. They moved to Nampa, Idaho in 1958.
After the passing of George, she married Earl L. Cobble in May of 1966. To this union, her 15th child was born.
Ardeths biggest love was her family. She had a heart of Gold, feeding any stray animal or person wandering down the alley. She loved reading, gardening, sewing, crocheting, dancing, singing, and playing with her grandkids.
She was a woman of great faith who trusted God with all her heart. She shared her unwavering belief by treating every living thing with love and respect (especially squirrels).
Ardeth is survived by: Her children, Terry (Judy) Pokorney, Frank (Sheryl) Pokorney, Connie (Allan) Green, Pamula Pokorney, Robert (Terri) Pokorney, Fred (Cindy) Pokorney, Evelyn (Dan) Worman, Ted Pokorney, Kathy (Dave) Barnes, William Pokorney, Lori (Terry) Look, Dale (Tara) Cobble, brothers, (Bob, Don, Gerald and Bill Coleman), 55 grandchildren, 113 great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren.
Ardeth is preceded in death by: Her parents, Arlo and Nellie, husbands, George and Earl, siblings (Iris, Beverly, Juanita, Sharon and Walter Bradford "Buddy boy"), children (Rusty, Toby and Baby Vicki), daughters-in-law (Kris, Missy and Mary), grandchildren (Amy, Rosi, and Audrianna), great grandson (Brodi).
A memorial to celebrate the life of Ardeth Arlouine Cobble will be held at:
Kohlerlawn Cemetery (Starr Ave niche wall) 76 6th Street North, Nampa, ID Friday, June 28th at 9:00 a.m.
In Lieu of flowers, please donate to your local animal shelter, or St Jude Childrens Hospital.
