Arnetha Anderson Obituary It is with great sadness that we announce Arnetha Mae Anderson, 86, of Nampa, Idaho, went to be with her Lord Jesus on January 11, 2025. Arnetha was born May 17, 1938, to William and Lorena McGhee in Compton, Arkansas, her parents moved west in 1940 settling in Jerome, Idaho. Upon graduating from Jerome High School in 1956, Arnetha worked at JC Penny Co. as a bookkeeper, and in 1958 she was recruited to the business office at Magic Valley Christian College. That is where Arnetha met Merrill Anderson, and the two were married in 1962. Upon marriage, Arnetha was blessed with the addition of Merrills daughter, Debi, into their family. As their love grew, so did their family with the births of Jeff and Jody. In 1963, Merrill took a job with the Nampa ISD, and John Brandt hired Arnetha as a bookkeeper for the Brandt Agency. She transitioned into real estate in 1973 and worked for Brandt Agency as a Realtor for over 50 years while concurrently holding various offices on the Nampa Board of Realtors. Arnethas generosity knew no bounds. She was generous in life and gladly helped anyone who was in need whether through an organization or personally. She was a loving mother and grandmother and also became "mom" to many high school students through Merrills career. Arnetha is survived by her son, Jeff (Kim) Anderson, Nampa; daughters, Jody (Marc) Compton, Tualatin, Oregon, and Debi (Ron) Slack, Logan, Utah, as well as grandchildren, Samantha Franklin, Tanner Anderson, Toby Anderson, Molly Holtzclaw, Riley Compton, Cassidy Compton, Carley Compton, Ryan Slack, Heidi Smith, Bret Slack and Kevin Slack, and 14 great-grandchildren. Arnetha was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lorena, her sisters, Juanita and Oda and her husband, Merrill. A Celebration of her life service will be held at Caldwell Church of Christ, 4012 S 10th Ave, Caldwell, ID, on Saturday January 25th at 10:00 AM.
