In Loving Memory of Arthur Murphy-Sweet June 24, 1966 – February 14, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Arthur Murphy-Sweet, on February 14, 2026.
Arthur lived a life marked by extraordinary strength. As a man with special needs, he faced physical and emotional challenges that many could never fully understand. Yet through every hardship, Arthur showed perseverance, courage, and a quiet resilience that inspired those around him. His life was not always easy, but it was meaningful, faithful, and filled with love.
Above all else, Arthur loved his wife, Maria. She was his greatest joy, his constant companion, and the center of his world. His devotion to her was unwavering—he would have done anything for Maria. Their love was a testament to commitment, tenderness, and loyalty. In her, he found comfort and purpose; in him, she found a husband whose heart was pure and steadfast.
Arthur’s faith was the foundation of his life. A devoted Catholic, he drew strength from his belief in God and the teachings of the Church. His deep faith carried him through suffering and gave him hope in difficult times. He found peace in prayer, comfort in the sacraments, and joy in being part of his church community. His trust in God was simple, sincere, and profound.
As a brother, Arthur taught us lessons in patience, compassion, and unconditional love. He reminded us that true strength is not measured by ease of life, but by how faithfully one endures it. Though he endured much, he also gave much—love, honesty, and a spirit that touched our family in lasting ways.
Arthur Murphy-Sweet leaves behind his beloved wife, Maria, his family, and all who were blessed to know him. Though we grieve his loss deeply, we take comfort in knowing he is now at peace, embraced by the God he loved so dearly.
May he rest in eternal peace.
