Obituary

Barbara 'Bobbie' Wilda Obituary Barbara 'Bobbie' Jean Dobbs Wilda was born April 25, 1937, in Nampa, Idaho, to Howard and 'Bunny' Dobbs. Bobbie was an 'only child,' but was far from spoiled. She was raised to work hard and serve other people any way she could. She became an accomplished cook and baker at an early age. She married John Jerry Wilda, of Star, Idaho, when she was 18 years of age, and they continued to have a loving marriage for the rest of her life-65 years. Bobbie gave birth to four daughters, sadly eluding the possibility of extending the Wilda lineage. Bobbie was an exceptional mother to Vicki (Stephen [d.]) Smith, Cleveland, TN; Jacki (Roger) Slack, Caldwell, ID: Billi Jo (Paul) Pino, Dunnellon, FL; and Gerri Kay (Colin) Shuler, Pocahontas, AR. 'Grandma Bobbie' had 12 grandchildren: Jonathan [d.] (Emilee) Smith, Andrews, TX; Rebekah (James) Horne, Farmington, PA; Charles "Chuck" (Elisa) Slack, Nampa, ID; DeeLynda "Lyndi" (Devin) Cabales, Mountain View, AR; Howard "Coby" (Amanda) Slack, Nampa, ID; Sage Pino, Dunnellon, FL; Grace (Paul) Alexander, Kalispell, MT; Jacob (Shannon) Shuler, Bono, AR; Sara (Keith) Tyler, Searcy, AR; Philip, Megan, and Thomas "Tommy" Shuler, Mountain View, AR. Great-grandchildren include Nathan (Abigail) Smith, Phoenix, AZ; Caleb, Luke, Abigail, Ezekiel, Lydia, Linus and Seth Smith, Andrews, TX; Katherine (Caleb) Cox, Pueblo, CO; Josiah and Samuel Horne, Farmington, PA, Jordan, Audrey, and Shyla Slack, Nampa, ID; Shayli and Kamiah Cabales, Mountain View, AR; Kaden, Quinten, and Keaten Slack, Nampa, ID; Zoe, Max, Titus, and Phebe Alexander, Kalispell, MT; Ariel and the soon arrival of Shiloh Shuler, Bono, AR; River Tyler, Searcy, AR. Jerry & Bobbie raised their girls to always put God first. They are deeply involved in the ministry and most all of their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren actively serve the Lord today and are involved in some sort of ministry. Bobbie was a caring and compassionate pastor's wife and, despite her many physical ailments and chronic pain, maintained a cheerful spirit. Anyone who has ever spent any time in the Wilda home knows there has always been plenty of laughter. Although she will no longer be with us physically, her family will cherish countless memories of her smile, her cooking, her love and kindness, and her example of a godly woman. She was the sweet glue that held us all together. She will surely be missed. Memorial: 1:00 P.M.
