Beatrice Trujillo entered into eternal rest and peace with her angels and saints the morning of May 9th, while at home surrounded by her children and grandchildren, she was 83. Beatrice, 'Bea', was born in Manasa Colorado, July 29, 1927 to Julia and Juan Chavez. She grew up in Del Norte, Colorado and went to school there. Bea had 4 sisters, Bennie, Rose, Stella, and Cleo who was her twin. She also had 5 brothers, Frankie, Louie, Johnny, Jakie, and Joey. She and Cleo were the 2nd eldest of them. She moved to Caldwell, Idaho in 1951 to work and lived in the Caldwell Labor Camp. She started working doing field work, then in the orchards, and then served as Head Cook of the Caldwell Labor Camp Headstart where she worked for several years. She also served as cook at the Elk's Club in Caldwell and at Diane's Restaurant. She also worked at the El Charro Cafe.

She had numerous nephews and nieces whom she loved very much, sisters and brothers in-law. She treasured her two nieces, Bernice and Julie, from New Mexico.
She would like to extend her love and appreciation to Debbie Timmons who was always there for her when she needed her. Prayers to her sister, Lee Patterson, and brother Bill. Also a very special Thanks to Dr. Jeffrey Hansen and nurse Alma.
The family would like to acknowledge special gratitude to Maria Arredondo, her caregiver, for the special care and prayers and comfort she gave to Bea for the past 4 years of her life.
Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents and Stepdad, Chris; sisters Cleo, Stella and Rose; brothers Jakie and Louie; and her Beloved son, Manuel Trujillo.
Bea's favorite moments in life were her children and grandchildren. Her grandchildren were the loves of her life. She loved babysitting them when they were young. She loved to cook and loved family gatherings.
Bea loved to cook and wherever she went, when making new friends her favorite thing to say would be, 'I'll make you some tortillas'. She loved cooking home-made mexican meals for friends and giving home made flour tortillas and tamales to friends and family.
