Betty Martineau Fisher Obituary Betty Emmert Martineau Fisher, 93, of Nampa, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 12th, 2023. There will be a viewing and visitation at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Ave. So. on Tuesday evening, Nov. 28, 2023 from 6 8 PM. A private service will be on Wednesday with interment to be at the Kohlerlawn Cemetery. Betty was born on April 28, 1930, in Bowmont, Idaho to Edgar and Dora (Boyd) Emmert. Betty was a proud resident of Nampa. She graduated from Nampa High School in 1948. Betty married her high school sweetheart, Lavern (Jr) Martineau, in 1948 and was married for 45 years before Laverns death in 1993. Betty retired from the Nampa Post Office as a Rural Mail Carrier for 30 years. In 1997, Betty was blessed to meet and marry Don Fisher. They were married for thirteen fun-filled years, that included many trips traveling together before Don passed away in 2010. Bettys passions were traveling, reading, needlework, jigsaw puzzles and especially her family. She always ended any conversations with: "Love ya, Bye Bye" Betty is survived by her children: Steven Martineau (Nampa), Vicki Martineau (Parma) and Linda (Tom) Stradley (Cascade). Stepchildren: Lynn (Dave) Ward, Mark (Jill) Fisher; Grandchildren; Ginna (Casey) Kuenzli, Jennifer (Eric) Runkle, Jake (Jessi) Smith, Eddy (Marla) Martineau, Kyle Stradley, Karri Keller, Noelle Weybright, and Chad Moody. Step Grandchildren: Nicholas (Alisson) Ward, Jordan (Heidi) Fisher & Jennifer Ward and Great Grandchildren: Chance, Chayce (Sami), Cayden, Katie, Megan, Sammi, Jada, Kaden, Tyler, Luke, Toby, Ryleigh, and Ella Betty was preceded in death by her parents; Edgar & Dora Emmert, her husbands Lavern Martineau & Don Fisher; daughter, Diane Martineau Moody; daughter-in-law, Vicki (Shroll) Martineau; grandsons, Austin Astle (Smith), Dillon Nicolas Martineau, Tryston Astle Smith; Brother and sister-in-law, James and Pat Emmert.
