Betty Ann Jurgens Betty Ann Jurgens was born on December 30, 1930 in Curtis, Nebraska to parents Violet and Louis LaBounty and passed away peacefully on October 31, 2016 in her home in Nampa, Idaho. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband George "Porge" Jurgens of 61 years; sister Eileen (LaBounty) Wightman; brothers Dale LaBounty and Francis LaBounty; and great granddaughter Lila. Betty is survived by her son Jerry (Janice) Jurgens of North Platte, Nebraska; daughters Janice (Roger) Cutright of Buckley, Washington and Judi (Kris) Norbryhn of Nampa, Idaho; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister Theone Harris of Lakewood, California; and many nieces and nephews. Betty enjoyed gardening, canning and quilting, leaving each one a special quilt to treasure and remember her by. She was a member of the Southside Methodist Church and treasured the fellowship with the many friends she made there. A memorial service will be held Friday, November 4, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the charity of your choice or to Southside Methodist Church, Nampa, Idaho in her name.
