Betty Yuly Obituary Betty Ann Yuly went to her eternal home in Heaven on November 2, 2024. She was born on March 27, 1937 to (Perry) H.M. Winkle and Winona Winkle in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Betty and her family left Colorado and moved to Bellevue, Washington in 1941. Betty grew up with sisters Janet, Caril, and Sue, and brothers Perry and Mert. Bettys family became an important part of the Kirkland Church of the Nazarene and Betty gave her heart to Jesus at the age of 10 years old and served him faithfully for all her years.
Betty graduated from Bellevue Christian High School. She and Russell Duane Yuly were married September 2, 1955. Bettys husband, Duane, was stationed in Germany where their first child was born. They returned to Kirkland and enjoyed being close to family, friends, and their church.
Betty was a home-maker while her children were young, and then a book-keeper at care facilities. She served her church as a Sunday School teacher, choir member, missionary president, VBS director, and Childrens Missionary Story Teller. Betty was blessed to enjoy Work and Witness trips to Africa, Romania, and Poland.
Betty loved oil painting, walking, sewing, reading, and singing. Spending time with her family at the family cabin was her favorite way to spend her days.
Betty was a much loved mom to Rusty (Karen) Yuly, Janet (Scott) Michaelson, and Loni Jo (Jeff) Rotter. A precious grandma to Kristin, Brad, Stephanie, Mikayla, Jason, Zachary, and Sydney, and great grandchildren Daniel, Jordan, Curtis, Mason, Brielle, Levi, Maelynn, Blakely, Addilyn, Elsie, Mara, and Paisley.
We are blessed by the life and example of this very special woman. She always displayed joy, hope, and her love for Jesus. Betty was known for her beautiful smile and gentle spirit.
