Obituary

Blair Horner 55, of Nampa passed away on Saturday March 19th, 2016 at St. AI's hospital in Boise Idaho. Blair was born Jan 12, 1961 to Jackie and Clair Taylor in Nampa, Idaho. He lived here in Nampa all his life only venturing away for short periods for jobs here and there. He was an only child that would have been classified as a mommas boy. He loved his mom dearly working hard to help her in any way that he could that was when he wasn't playing football or just being a boy. As he got older through teen years and then on into young adulthood Blair got married and divorced but during that marriage he had two daughters Amber Horner and Alissa Wittenberg. A few years of being a single dad came to an end when he met the love of his life Diana Lynn they met and married within three weeks. Needless to say it was love at first sight. With that marriage came a stepson, Nick Smith. For Blair he was so excited to have a son. With that being said his family was complete. Blair loved to take his family camping, fishing, Yellowstone, and salt lake to lagoon. He was a big kid at heart. He loved spending time with his family. Blair always worked very hard to provide for his family. Then one sad day Blair and Diana discovered Diana had cancer and with massive aggression Diana's cancer claimed her life only a short eight months later. Devastating our family. Blair struggled greatly losing the love of his life. It was very hard for Blair to keep going but he did for his children. As time went on Blairs children grew up and moved on his daughters got married and the next phase of life began for Blair, grandbabies came along. He adored his grandchildren or as papa called them Mackenzie (Kiki Ray) 14, Madison (Moe) 12, Jackson (Bug) 10, Sophia (Cheeks) 7. Blairs kids and grandkids definitely kept him going especially over the last few years. Blair struggled with his health. He tried to fight through but his poor body and heart couldn't take anymore. So therefore he got to leave and go dance with the love of his life once again. During Blair's life there wasn't a doubt that he had amazing friends who became family and family who became friends. Blair had a lot of love to give and a lot of love to receive. Anyone who crossed his path would know how unforgettable he was. He will be greatly loved and missed. Blair is survived always and forever through his children Nick Smith Amber and Shannan Carter, Mackenzie and Madison, Alissa and Shawn Wittenberg, Jackson and Sophia and many other cherishable friends and family.
