Bobby Hill
Dad came into our lives when I (Donna) was 2 & will never leave. He loved mom & us all forever.
A friend -- who uses to be a neighbor, bought a motorhome when they 1st came out years ago. Dad thought it was the neatest thing & so did mom so he built his own from his pickup. It may not have been fancy, as he found pieces & parts, & built it with his own 2 hands. He couldn't have been prouder of it..
He braided the best ropes out of nylon you ever used & sometimes sold them. He could crack a bull whip just as good, IF NOT better then any cowboy. He taught his youngest daughter Donna how to crack a bull whip. He loved that. He shared his birthday and middle name with Donna. He helped Dave one year build fences on our property. Loved our Kuna well water.
He loved to fish & hunt. Enjoyed being on the boat with Bob & Eva.
He worked weekends in the summers for Bill Newton, stomping in the chopped hay stacks. OLE BILL use to say 'every other stack around would fall, but by god BOB'S would stay standing to the bottom'. I never heard Dad complain about hey fever either.
He called granddaughter Heather, Feather. Named his one dog after his friend Don Fisher. The Dog was called Fisher.
Halloween was his favorite holiday. Karah remembered him scaring her & Kim at Halloween one year. He dressed like a mummy (wrapped himself all up in toilet paper.).
He enjoyed living at Trinity Manor. He kept them on their toes. They called him BOB'O. He would go around the hallways in his wheel chair once his legs gave out, & check all the doors & make sure they were shut & locked. If they weren't he had his way of chewing them out the next time he seen them. Some times with a chuckle & they watched themselves more closely.
Loved his liver & onions, watching old movies
Worked for Nampa Livestock, Meridian wood products (now woodgrain molding), Parks & Sons Sanitation, Fleetwood Homes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester (Slim) Hill and Maggie March Hill; wife Beatrice Hill, 5 siblings Alma Fox, Anna Mae Pterson, Eunice Bartrop, Jesse Hill & Edna Jackson. 1 son Lloyd Hill & 1 grand daughter Barbie. Survived by 2 siblings.
