Bonnie Bell Obituary Bonnie Jean Bell, 81 of Nampa died on January 2nd, 2023, at home surrounded by her family. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2023 at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Ave. So. Burial will follow at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell. Bonnie was born October 26th, 1941, in Homedale ID, to Clifford Pate and Catherine (Turnbull) Pate spending most of her youth gallivanting with her 2 older brothers in Northern ID, Northern CA, and Nevada. Bonnie married Georg Bell on October 14th, 1967, in the First Baptist Church, in Nampa. Of this marriage three children were born. Katie (Matt) Hampton, of Jackson, MO, Mike (Molly) Bell, of Nampa and Joe (Tammy) Bell of Nampa. Bonnie was an active member of the Womens Democratic Chairmans Committee in Nampa, Lady Elks BPOE 1389, a member of the PTA, Twins Club, First Church of the Nazarene, and any other program that needed a voice. Bonnie worked for many years as an optician at a private practice in Nampa before retiring. After retirement she spent many hours crocheting, embroidering, gardening, and canning. Besides her three children she is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers.
