Bruce McFarland, Sr. Obituary Bruce Lee McFarland, Sr. passed away from natural causes on April 22, 2022, at the Sunny Ridge Assisted Living facility. He was born in Payette, Idaho on August 11, 1947, son of Don McFarland and Lena Nugent.
Bruce grew up in Nampa, Idaho and graduated from Nampa High School in 1967. He soon got married to Oreatha Jean Ader and had 3 children: Tracy McFarland, Bruce L. McFarland, Jr. and Matthew J. McFarland.
Bruce followed a career in a grocery retail business working for many companies like Albertsons and M&W Markets. He had a successful career leading to management for more than 30 years and retired in 2006.
He was a loving and dedicated family man and soul provider. Bruce loved to hunt and fish the great outdoors of Idaho. He enjoyed spending time with his family playing games, going to the movies, swimming, and seeing the Oregon Coast.
Bruce was a God-fearing man and dedicated follower as a Jehovah Witness. He loved Gods creation and believed in Gods Promise stated in Rev. 21:5 says: "Look! I am making all things new." "Write, for these words are faithful and true."
Bruce is survived by his brother Jerry McFarland and sister Joyce Murray and his 3 children Tracy, Bruce, Jr., and Matthew. Bruce was a loving soul to his family and friends and will not be forgotten.
