Cally "Cal" Wade Kimball, 69, of Nampa, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2011 at his home surrounded by family after a valiant battle with cancer.

The family and close friends will gather on August 5, 2011 at the Nampa Funeral Home Yraguen Chapel from 4:00-7:00pm to remember and share stories about Cal. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 6, 2011 at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel.

Contributions to charities are encouraged in lieu of flowers.

Cal was the middle child of three children, born in Backus, Minnesota on November 21, 1941 to Wade Kimball from Backus, MN & Cecil Wynn from Pine River, MN

On December 22, 1968, Cal married Jean Pruitt from Bakersfield, California and moved to Idaho to be near family. On June 14, 2006, Jean went home to her heavenly Father. Cal later met Sandra Stewart from Middleton, Idaho and was married November 15, 2007.

Providing for his family and raising his three children were his main priorities. Cals life was exemplified by his love for family, friends, and the outdoors. Morning visitors were often given a cup of coffee and a home cooked breakfast.

Cals commitment to family is clearly stated in his belief that "Family is our Legacy."

Through-out his life, Cal provided for his family by working concrete and as a truck driver. With millions of miles travelled and hundreds jobs completed, Cal had the opportunity to meet many people, forming many endearing friendships that have lasted throughout the years.

Upon retiring in 2009, Cals interests expanded to woodworking, dancing and travelling. Cals days were often filled with creating yard decorations and making plans to improve properties in Idaho and Arizona owned with Sandra. His evenings were filled with dancing and social activities.

Cal is survived by his wife, Sandy Kimball. Sister Mary Ann La Ford, Washington. Brother Jack Kimball, Oregon. Son Jack M Kimball (wife, Nicole), Nampa; grandchildren, Amber Fagen, Washington (great-grandchildren Avery Fagen and Lucas Fagen); Courtney Kimball, Washington; Brandy Yokom, Boise (great-grandchild Camille Yokom); Katie Yokom, Boise; Daughter Tracy A Wilson (husband, Hyrum), Nampa; grandchildren, Jordan Wilson, Baley Wilson, Chase Wilson and Jeannie Wilson; Son Wade S Kimball (wife, Irene), Nampa, and grandchildren David Kimball and Christopher Kimball and several extended family members.
