Calvin H (Sparky) Sparks, 90, of Nampa, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at a Nampa hospital. He was born on February 2, 1926 in Nampa, ID. He married Phyllis Sparks in 1952; together they raised five daughters and one son. Sparky enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf and dancing. He is survived by a son, Kerry Sparks, and five daughters:#1 Sandy (Donald)Taggart, #2 Vickie (Wayne) Johnson, #3 Joanne Smith, #4 Jonna Zieber and #5 Cindy Vogel. He is survived by a brother, Les Sparks; 18 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren and niece, Nicole (Alan) Foster. He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis; parents, Ruth & Herschel Sparks; grandson, Steve Johnson; and great-great granddaughter Xandra Johnson. A graveside service will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, July 15, 2016 at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell. Arrangements are under the direction of the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel.
