Catherine Barayasarra Obituary Catherine "Cathy" Bell Barayasarra, 1946-2019 Cathy Barayasarra, a lifetime resident of the Boise Valley, passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 of natural causes. She was born September 24,1946 to Clifton and Marie Odle Bell. She spent a great deal of her childhood on the family farm with her grandparents, Earl and Lena Odle, whom she adored. She graduated from Boise High School in 1964, and a few years later met a tall, dark handsome Basque, Mike Barayasarra, and they were married in 1975. She and Mike enjoyed many good years and farmed together until his death on New Years Day, 2017. In addition to Mike, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, father, Cliff Bell, and mother and stepfather, Marie and Richard Crisp. 'Cathy with a C' was also predeceased by her stepsister, 'Kathy, with a K' That is how the family differentiated between them! She is survived by nieces and nephews, including, Vicki Murgoitio and family; stepsiblings Randy, Kenny, and Terry Crisp, and Becky Greene; brother in law, Jim Barayasarra and Family and sister in law, Eileen Barayasarra and Family. Cathy was loved and will be missed, especially her quick wit and dry sense of humor! Cathy was a member of Holy Apostles Catholic Church of Meridian A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Apostles Catholic Church at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 16, 2019. Interment will follow at Meridian Cemetery.
