Cherie Anderson Obituary Cherie Anabel Harding Anderson passed away peacefully on February 26, 2024, in Boise, Idaho, at the age of 80. She was born on April 11, 1943, in Provo, Utah, to the late Owen S. Harding and Leora Z. Harding.
Cherie was a miracle to her parents, who had waited 17 years for the birth of their first child. She grew up on a small family farm in Vineyard, Utah, surrounded by many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was a "daddys girl", but her mothers best helper. Cherie enjoyed going on the annual Orem Riding Club campout with her parents and younger brother. As a youth she took dance lessons. She also learned to play the piano and organ.
Cherie attended schools in Vineyard and Orem, Utah, graduating in 1960 from Orem High School. After high school she moved to Salt Lake City, Utah to study at Stevens-Henager Business College. Her career took her through various roles, starting at Standard Oil, as well as Hedrick and Bodine, and ultimately spanning over 30 years at Boise Cascade, where she dedicated most of her time to the legal department.
Outside of her professional life, Cherie was known for her unwavering love for her savior, Jesus Christ, her family, a wide variety of animals, and the Boise State Broncos.
Cherie will be deeply missed by her surviving family members: her brother Robert Harding (Cindy); her daughter Michelle Butler (Randy); her grandsons Matthew Butler and Ryan Butler; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Owen and Leora Harding.
