Obituary

Christian Carl Yurk, 90, of Nampa, Idaho passed away January 8, 2018 at the VA Hospital Medical Center. He was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin on January 27, 1927. His parents were of German/Russian descent. He had 4 sisters and 3 brothers, he is survived by one brother, Roland in Michigan; a step-daughter Geraldine Gilster and husband Marvin, and grandson Jake (Alexa) Gilster, all of Nampa; Two step-sons David (Maryann) Malach and Gordon (Gail) Malach; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Chris served in the US Navy in 1945 and 1946. He married Dorothy Malach on July 5, 1969. She passed away 20 years ago in August 1997. He was an offset color pressman most of his life. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Chris was also an avid gardener with a good green thumb. Chris loved the Lord. He witnessed Jesus saving grace to others right up to the end. He was looking forward to being with him in his heavenly home. Good bye Dad and Grandpa A memorial service to honor his life will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Nampa First Church of the Nazarene. 17th ave. and 7th st. in Nampa. All are invite to a Luncheon immediately following the service.
