Connie Wright Obituary CONNIE SUE (FARWELL) WRIGHT went to be with her Lord on June 14, 2024 at the age of 80. Connie was born to Ruel & Renabel (Graham) Farwell on August 26, 1943 in Nampa, Idaho. The eldest of eight children, Connie loved music and played both the piano and accordion, providing music for church with her mother and sister. She attended both Multnomah School of the Bible and Northwest Nazarene College, graduating with a degree in Education in 1967. Connie taught elementary school in western Canyon County for seven years. In 1984, she graduated from Boise State University with a Masters degree in Special Education and impacted the lives of many students and teachers in the Kuna and Meridian school districts. Connie was honored with the opportunity to travel to Russia in 1994 with a team of special education teachers and spent several weeks working with the Russian school system, equipping them to support their students. She then served as a Special Education advisor for Meridian School District until her retirement in 2003. Connie married the love of her life, Roger Wright, on July 5, 1968 at her maternal grandmothers home in Parma, Idaho. 6 years later, they welcomed their only child, Jodi. The family ran a dairy and farmed in the south Nampa area until 1985. In 2015 they moved back to the Wright family farm outside of Kuna where Connie enjoyed doing paper crafts and gardening. She continued to play piano for Heritage Bible Church in Boise. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Warren, and sisters Jane, Becky, & Bethel Farwell. She is survived by her husband and daughter, two brothers, Wayne and Paul, both of Caldwell, a sister, Joan Peterson, of Sandy OR, as well as by many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Ancora Health Services for the care provided for Connie in the last few months of her life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Connies name to the Alzheimers Association (www.alz.org) with hopes of finding a cure for the devastating disease that impacted our Mom.
