Corbett Larsen Obituary Corbett James Larsen (September 16, 1994 - December 16, 2022) Corbett James Larsen, 28, of Nampa left us December 16, 2022. Corbett (Corby) was born September 16, 1994, in Nampa to Greg and Louise (Henscheid) Larsen. He attended St. Pauls Catholic School, West Junior High and Nampa High School, graduating in 2013. During high school he was a member of the state championship cross-country team and participated in track. He was a member of the National Honor Society and Science Olympics. Corbett played guitar in the NHS jazz band, violin in orchestra, and was an Eagle Scout in Troop #160. He enjoyed LAN parties with friends, playing video games, hiking, camping, taking long walks, playing guitar, attending live concerts, and playing board and card games with his family. In his youth, Corbett was a member of the Holy Apostle Renaissance Choir and was passionate about music throughout his life. He attended University of Idaho and Boise State University before earning his associate degree from the College of Western Idaho. When he left us, he was completing a bachelors degree in software development from Western Governors University and was employed as an information technology specialist. Through his work, he became a skilled trainer and teacher. He was instrumental in creating the Maker Labs at both the Nampa Public Library and Boise State University. Corbett will be remembered for his smile, sensitivity, and compassion. He was a devoted son to his mother and father and loving uncle to Bella and Logan. He enjoyed (and endured) being part of two very large extended families. He was a deep thinker who believed in a small carbon footprint and living simply. His desire was to travel and challenge himself to try new things. Corbett will be forever loved by his mother and father, brother Joshua, sister-in-law Heather, niece Bella, nephew Logan, and grandmother DeLoris Henscheid. He will be deeply missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, his best-friend Hunter Fillmore, and many, many others. A celebration of Corbetts life will be held Thursday, December 22 at 2 pm at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Avenue South, Nampa, Idaho 83651.
