Cristene Ingram Drake passed away November 19, 2014. She is the youngest in the family of Bert and Pearl Frost Ingram. Born April 3, 1953 in Nampa, ID. Growing up in Nampa and Declo, ID. Cristene loved family life and was happiest when she was with family or friends and was caring and loyal to them all. Cristene liked backyard barbecues and being in the pool, she enjoyed family reunions, yard sales, TV, her work outs, shopping, jewelry, the color red and mashed potatoes; but most important in her life, was her son Jason. She loved him fiercely and was so proud of him. Cristine was totally enthralled with her grandson, Trenton and granddaughter Zoey, she loved them so very much and loved to be with them and talk about them. They brought her her greatest happiness. Cristene found her one true love when she was 41. She met and married Vern Drake, known as Bud. Sadly she lost him to a heart attack a brief 2 1/2 years later. He gave her so much in that short time: friendship, fun, and a new outlook, such as there is more to life than mashed potatoes. He brought her happiness and many special memories, but most of all he gave his love. Not only was Bud her first love, but her only love. She is survived by her son, Jason, grandchildren, Trenton and Zoey, brothers Bert Russel and Sherman L. Ingram, sisters Barbara Anne Thornton, Mary Celia Clemens, and LaNeva Ingram Rees, sister in law Joann Ingram, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, LaVina Pearl Sanderson, Bettie Jo Lowder, Nancy Earle Benjamin, Carla Ingram, and brother Charles Keith Ingram. Cristene will be greatly missed always, but she has left a legacy of so many memories and love.
