Cynthia 'Cindy' Curry Obituary Cynthia A. Curry, "Cindy", was born to Lawrence & Audene Roemer on August 17, 1953, in Rupert, Idaho. Cindy was the only child and the pride and joy of Lawrence and Audene. Much of her childhood was spent in Rupert until the family moved to Bruneau-Grand View, where she attended and graduated from Bruneau-Grand View High School in 1971.
Soon after graduation, Cindy married Richard E. Beck of Mountain Home, Idaho, and they had two children, Lawrence "Larry" Beck in 1972 and Kresta N. Beck in 1977. Both children faced difficult medical conditions, requiring several moves along with various treatments.
In 1985, Cindy married Robert W. Curry, "Bill", in Wyoming. They moved to California and began a Bankruptcy Law Business where Cindy worked as a licensed paralegal.
Circumstances led to Bill and Cindy moving back to Idaho where they cared for Cindys mom and dad. Her mother passed away in 1999, her father followed almost a year later in 2000, and tragedy struck one more time in 2007, when Bill passed away.
In 2008, Cindy met and began her life with Curt Sower from Caldwell, Idaho. He loved her dearly along with her disabled daughter, Kresta. She and Kresta were always his Unknown Gift, as Cindy would state, along with other colorful language.
Cindy spent her entire life as a care provider. She protected Larry while he grew up and cared for Kresta like no other. Cindy would never rest until she knew her family was safe and happy.
Cindy is survived by her two children: Larry of Portales, NM and Kresta of Caldwell, ID. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Gabby Wadsworth, Courtney Holtzen, Ally Becksworth, and Braden Beck. She is also survived by four great grandchildren: Easton Holtzen, Ellie Holtzen, Scarlette Becksworth, and Aria Becksworth. Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence & Audene Roemer, and husband Robert W. Curry.
A short ceremony and internment will take place in the pavilion, conducted at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Boise, Idaho on March 20, 2025 at 11:00 am. All are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, Cindy would request you send donations to any Special Needs charity of your choice.
