Davelene Toylee 'Dale' DeCoux, 93, of Nampa, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at a Nampa care facility. She was born on September 16, 1921 in Rush Springs, Oklahoma to Arthur A. and Bernice (Coon) Phillips. At an early age her family moved to California where she was raised and educated. She married David F. Decoux on March 9, 1941 in California. They had a wonderful life together raising three children and her working as a school cook for the Anaheim school system. Dale was also a wonderful seamstress and creative craftsman where she made many crafts and enjoyed all artwork. She was a wonderful homemaker and a great Mom. She was preceded in death by her husband, David; her parents, Arthur and Bernice; two brothers, Reford and Bill Phillips; and a son in law, Henry Gervais. She is survived by a brother, Mel (Edie) Phillips of Colorado; a sister, Bonnie Garland of California; three children, Larry (Claire) DeCoux of Nampa, Becky Gervais of Nampa and Steve (Linda) DeCoux of California; her grandchildren, David (Petra) Gervais, Tim (Diana) Gervais; Paul (Melanee) DeCoux, Michelle Lackmann and Shawna Holmsen; and 13 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
