Darlene Rose Spencer, our beloved Mother, Grandma, Great Grandma, Great-Great Grandma, and Sister passed away in Nampa ID on January 17, 2014. Grandma was born in Fonda, Iowa on January 10, 1927. She was preceded in death by her husband Myron, son Robert, and grand-daughter Meagan. Grandma was known for her cooking; especially cookies and desserts, and she loved any excuse to cook family dinners. Grandma will be missed by her large family including daughters: Sharon MacPherson, Kathy (John) Church, and daughter in law Carol Nitzel and sons Bill, Larry, and Mike (Sherry) Spencer. She is also survived by her 24 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, as well as her 3 sisters. Grandma will truly be forever in our hearts. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at the Nampa First Christian Church, 619 12th Ave. So., Nampa. A viewing will be held prior to the services starting at 12:00 Noon. Private burial will be in the Meridian Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel.
