David Dale Allen was born on July 13, 1956, in Nampa, Idaho where he lived happily for sixty-nine years. David passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025. He spent his last day doing what he loved, hunting chukars on opening day in the Owyhee Mountains.

David was born to Dale and Carol Allen. He was raised on the south side of Lake Lowell in Nampa, Idaho. He grew up with his older sister, Linda and younger siblings Vickie and Randy.

In high school, David met his wife, Angie. They married a few years later on March 11, 1978. They just celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary. Together they raised two sons, Scott and Jason.

After high school not only did David start a family, but he also studied Autobody Paint and Repair. He worked on cars for several years until changing careers to work for the Nampa Highway District on February 18, 1985. He worked there for 36 years as a heavy equipment operator until he retired on December 31, 2021.

David loved everything involving the outdoors including hunting, fishing, and exploring the Owyhees with his family. He exemplified the country lifestyle every day: he was a stranger to no one, he put others' needs before himself, and his first instinct was one of kindness. Though he didn't live a lavish life; it was full.

In the time following the passing of his father Dale, David found a deeper sense of spirituality. What began as a quiet search for peace and understanding gradually grew into a steady, personal faith that brought him comfort and clarity. Though he kept his beliefs private, his renewed connection to God became a quiet strength in his life—guiding how he loved, how he forgave, and how he found joy in everyday moments.

David is survived by his wife, Angie; his sons, Scott (Heather) and Jason (Angell); six grandchildren, Clayton, Jaylee (Nathan), Brooke (Derek), Wes, Jordin, and Jaylin; and one great-granddaughter, Kinsley, as well as numerous extended family members.
