Obituary

David Dwayne Dave Nation, 66, of Caldwell Idaho passed away at home Tuesday, January 10, 2015. David was born in Council Bluff, IA on July 28, 1948 to Frank Nation and Leona Weyand. David served his country honorably in the US Army, serving 2 terms in Vietnam. David was a 19 year member of the Caldwell Elks Lodge #1448 as well as a member of the Legend Green Bay Packer Fan Club. David was preceded in death by his father, Frank Nation and his sister Karen Marshall. He is survived by his wife of 31 years Judy Nation of Caldwell, ID; son Kevin (Lisa) Nation of Waterford, WI and their children Kylee, Jeret and Elyonna, Davids Mother Leona Weyand, also his son Dave Jr. and daughter Lena from a previous marriage and 4 grandchildren between them, Alanis, Zoe, Elysia and Alivia, and several nieces and nephews. There will be a celebration of Davids life that family and friends are welcome to on Monday, January 19, 2015 for a viewing from 11:00pm 1:00pm and memorial service at 2:00 pm at Middleton High School Auditorium. David will receive a military burial at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Boise on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Services are under the direction of the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel.
