Vredevelt was born August 5, 1925 in Snohomish, WA to Albert and Nora Vredevelt. Dave was the 3rd of 4 children and the only boy in the family. As a young man he helped his father by working on their farm or at the family service station. They shared 37 wonderful years serving the Lord and each other while attending Nampa First Church of the Nazarene. Dave loved the outdoors especially fishing, hunting, camping and working in his garden. When he was not outside you would find him reading his Bible or writing poems. He appreciated Maureens family and her children were thankful for the happiness that they shared. During his last years he was cared for by his wife and her family Kirk and Joyce Bowman, Corinne and Don Conley, David and Gail Bowman, Richard and Gretchen Bowman and Diane and Jim Parker and numerous grandchildren.
