Delmar Leroy Martin Delmar passed on to be with the Lord in the early morning hours of November 24, 2014 at Sunbridge Terrace Nursing Home in Nampa surrounded by family. Delmar was born in Bedford, Iowa on February 6, 1916. Growing up on a farm where he learned to love horses. He passed this love on to his children and grandchildren. Having a desire to sing he taught himself to play the guitar and share with anyone who was around. He was employed and retired from the PFE plant, working as a serviceman for over 40 years in Nampa, Idaho. He left behind his three daughters; Marcella Brooke, Donna Martin, and Denise Martin, also from his second wife Nona Martin; Bill McCarrel, Randy McCarrel, and Cindy Francke, Ila Mills, a sister, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. All will greatly miss his chipper attitude and warm hugs. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Mabel Martin, two brothers Bill and Lewis Martin, and a sister, Wilma Meeker, his first wife Garland (Honey) King Martin and his second Wife Nona Martin. Who are waiting with open arms to receive him in heaven. Services will be held at Nampa Mortuary on 12th Ave. with a viewing at 10 a.m. and the memorial service at 11 a.m. Although, Delmar has passed on we will miss his love and friendship forever.
