IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dolores A Baroli)
Gardella
July 30, 1930 – May 20, 2011
Dolores A. Gardella (nee Baroli) of Nampa, Idaho, passed away into Gods eternal care on May 20, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mario. Born July 30, 1930 in Iowa and raised in Reno, Nevada, Dolores and Monty moved their family to Idaho in 1977, where they put down roots and lived on a small ranch in New Plymouth and enjoyed raising cattle and sheep. They moved to Nampa in 1991 where over the years many family gatherings took place and she would always serve her specialty homemade ravioli.
As an avid knitter, Dolores not only made beautiful pieces for her family and friends, but also for members of the community in need. She knitted afghans for the elderly and small caps for premature infants. Her love for this craft and passion for giving to others will be forever remembered by those who love her and some who never even knew her.
She loved to travel and took every opportunity to visit her grandchildren, including Germany, the East Coast and often California. She loved to raise flower gardens and filled many hours reading her favorite books and poetry.
Dolores is the beloved mother of Gina Gardella, Trace Gardella (Meladee), Jill Gardella (Reimar), Gay Gardella and Kathy Gardella. The light and joy of her life were her grandchildren Allison McLaughlin, Matthew Borton, Tony and Rebecca Day, Jessica, Clarissa, Joseph and Samuel Gardella, Kristina, Ben and Hannah Stuckenbrock, and her great-grandchildren, Will and Reagan McLaughlin and Ethan Romine.
Our cherished mom, grandma (nonna), sister, aunt, cousin and friend will live in our hearts and memories forever.
The family will greet friends and family at a visitation and viewing on Monday, May 23, 2011 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel.
